Should I stay or should I go?? Indecisive writer.?

I'm at my dads and been suffering from writers block, but now I actually feel like writing! I had the start of a novella in a notepad that I know now how to continue, but I think I left the notebook at my mums and shes 15 miles away. I rang her and hoped she could read it out over the phone to me and I could write it down, but she can't find it anywhere, and I can't find it here. Should I get a bus all the way there, to look for it (my mum isn't good at finding things) or wait till tomorrow because I'm going to stay at hers tomorrow. I really want to work on it though.
