Can a dog get chicken pox or shingles?

I don't think so. More than likely, (if you are asking about your dog) It's something called scabbies. Looks like scabs all over the body, loss of hair, and dry flaky skin. My dog had it after she was born, it just has to run it's course, but bathing helps, as long as it's with very mild dog shampoo. No scents.
