Has anyone experienced this?

Could very well be. My periods have been abnormal since beginning the new birth control pill I'm on. My son is 17 weeks old. And its quite normal to have breakthrough bleeding and spotting the first few months on any new birth control pills. Your body is getting used to the hormones and self regulating.
