Why do Republicans want Americans to pay for Bank Reform instead of the banks? Why are they siding with Banks?

Republican Scott Brown threatened a veto of Financial Reform unless they took out the part where the Bank would pay for it. Instead US Taxpayers will pay for it using TARP funds. Republicans gave him the nod and not one objected to this. Can you now thank Republicans helping the banks get 20 billion more from us? Do you think that after Republicans had the bank and economy fail on their watch that they should at least not reward the banks?
