Does anyone have any at home remedies for shingles?

I am 27 years old and have had a reoccuring bout of shingles (probably once every 2 years or so) on my forehead. It's quite embaring and I'm looking for any recommendations to help speed the healing of them. They seem to usually last about two weeks.
