Confused about guy friend???

ok, so last year i met this guy and we got to be pretty good friends. something happened with another gurl and it really changed our friend-2-friend relationship; since then it's been weird between us. we don't hang as much and we nvr talk on the phone ..... i like him and idk wut 2 do ....... yes, he knows i like him. we go 2 the same high skool and have a cl together; during the cl he stares at me and sometimes says sumthin 2 his friends and they look 2. wut's up? does he wanna talk 2 me and is 2 shy? he was nvr all that friendly with me @ skool, but outside of skool he wuz different. i'm afraid that he'll like, ignore me and try 2 be "cool" in front of his friends if i go talk 2 him, so idk wut 2 do. HELP PLEEZ!?!?!?!?
