Change subconscious thoughts for success?

How can i change my subconscious thoughts to be more successful? I have looked all over the internet for tips and the only things i find are websites trying to sell me books or cds....please dont post any links to websites if they are only going to ask for my money.....if anyone has personal experience with this, and can give me some tips or advice, thats what im looking for
