Americans! Does this story make me a good Muslim?

You seem polite and well-mannered enough. So long as you can obey our laws, I personally welcome you and accept you as a new American. But be warned: I am not all Americans. Many people will always fear and/ or hate anyone perceived to be different. That's just the "mob mentality" aspect of human nature. It applies everywhere. This fact, coupled with the fact that the media has not been kind to Muslims over the past ten years, means that your life here will most likely be very difficult.
